Baggage Allowance

Alliance Air’s checked baggage policy permits 15 kg per passenger on most domestic flights and 10 kg on specific routes like Delhi-Kullu and Kullu-Chandigarh. For international flights, the allowance increases to 20 kg per passenger. Checked baggage must not exceed a total of 270 cm in dimensions, and individual pieces can weigh up to 32 kg as per regulations.

For cabin baggage, passengers are allowed one piece up to 5 kg with dimensions of 40×30×15 cm, plus a personal item such as a ladies bag, laptop, or essential items like umbrellas and medicines.

Check-in

Alliance Air passengers may check in at dedicated airport counters, which close 60 minutes before domestic departures. Boarding gates close 20 minutes prior, and passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before departure to ensure a smooth journey. Failure to comply with check-in timelines may result in reservation cancellation.

Alternatively, passengers can utilize Web Check-in up to 1 hour before domestic flights, excluding those requiring special services or specific booking categories.

Kiosk Check-in is also available for seat selection and boarding pass printing. However, printing a boarding pass from the kiosk is not possible after the check-in counters have closed. These options help streamline the travel experience.

Onboard Support

Alliance Air provides comprehensive support for unaccompanied minors, categorizing children aged 2 to 12 with specific services.

Children under 5 must travel with someone over the age of 18 years.

Those aged 5 to 12 can utilize the 'Flying Junior Solo' service.

All minors must check in early, present valid photo IDs, and have a parent remain at the airport until departure. During the flight, cabin crew ensure their safety and comfort, and ground staff assist upon arrival.

Additionally, Alliance Air offers wheelchair assistance at all airports, subject to availability. Passengers must request this service at least 48 hours in advance through the call center or website. The airline also provides meet-and-assist services, baggage handling, and individual safety briefings. While basic assistance is available, personal care and toileting needs are not supported.

Passengers with mobility issues are accommodated with suitable seating, adhering to safety regulations.

Refund & Cancellation

Alliance Air permits flight changes up to 2 hours before departure, subject to fare conditions and applicable modification charges. No booking changes or modifications are permitted within 2 hours of the scheduled flight departure.

If a passenger books a lower fare class than that of the canceled booked flight, the fare difference is non-refundable, while upgrading to a higher fare class requires the passenger to pay the difference and any penalties.
