À propos de Wizz Air

About

Wizz Air, recognized as Europe’s fastest-growing and most environmentally sustainable low-cost carrier, operates over 750 routes, serving 190 airports in 54 countries. With a modern fleet averaging under 4.2 years, the airline provides affordable, no-frills travel, ensuring equal value for all passengers while maintaining a strong commitment to environmental responsibility.

Employing more than 8,200 aviation professionals, Wizz Air connects travelers to unique destinations across Europe and beyond, fostering memorable experiences. The airline's state-of-the-art Airbus A320 family, including the eco-friendly A321neo, contributes to its safety reputation, making it the airline with the smallest environmental footprint per passenger.

Baggage Allowance

Wizz Air permits each passenger to carry one free carry-on bag with a maximum size of 40 x 30 x 20 cm and a weight limit of 10 kg, and it must fit under the seat in front. This is suitable for a laptop bag, purse, or small backpack. To include an additional trolley bag, passengers can add WIZZ Priority to their bookings, allowing a second bag of up to 55 x 40 x 23 cm and 10 kg, which must fit in the overhead compartment.

For checked baggage, Wizz Air offers options ranging from 10 kg to 32 kg per bag, with dimensions not exceeding 149 x 119 x 171 cm. Passengers may check up to 6 bags each.

While wheels on all baggage are allowed, they should not extend the bag’s size by more than 5 cm.

Special items like musical instruments (max 80 x 40 x 23 cm, 10 kg) can be carried as cabin baggage with WIZZ Priority, replacing a trolley bag, or on an extra seat if exceeding these dimensions. Sports equipment, including bicycles and diving gear, must be securely packed and added to the booking at least 3 hours before departure.

Diplomatic baggage is carried as non-checked-in baggage and requires diplomatic courier's presence throughout the journey.

Additionally, ashes packed safely in a container can be carried as cabin baggage with appropriate certificates.

Check-in

Wizz Air offers Auto Check-in, which automatically checks passengers and their companions into their flight 50 hours before departure. This is available for all bookings, depending on the departure airport. After check-in, boarding cards are sent to passengers for bookings with up to 10 people. For larger groups, boarding cards must be retrieved on the website.

Passengers can also check in online up to 3 hours before departure, print their own boarding cards, or use the mobile app to access a mobile boarding pass.

In some cases, passengers may need to collect boarding cards at the airport, which is a paid service. If online and mobile check-in is unavailable, airport check-in is provided at no extra cost.

In-flight Services

Passengers can enjoy hot drinks, sandwiches, snacks, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages from the WIZZ Café.

The WIZZ Boutique features a variety of items, including Wizz Air-branded gifts, perfumes from top brands, travel accessories, and other unique gifts. This selection ensures that passengers can find something special during their journey, with the crew ready to provide assistance throughout the flight.

WIZZ Memberships

Wizz Air offers tailored frequent flyer programs designed to enhance the travel experience with exclusive benefits.

Passengers can join the Wizz Discount Club for year-round ticket and baggage discounts, loyalty rewards, and exclusive onboard coupons and promotions. Families and frequent travelers alike can enjoy personalized membership options and share discounts with one or more companions.

For avid travelers traveling at least 6 times a year, the Wizz Multipass provides a monthly subscription for flights at fixed prices, even during peak seasons.

The All You Can Fly program offers unlimited travel within a year for a one-time fee, granting ultimate flexibility and access to Wizz Air’s extensive international network.

Refund & Cancellation

Wizz Air allows voluntary cancellations up to 3 hours before the scheduled departure, with a cancellation fee. Passengers can request refunds through their WIZZ Account, either as WIZZ credits or to the original payment method via Call Centre.

Refunds for cancellations or delays caused by the airline can also be requested through the WIZZ Account.

In cases of denied boarding, either voluntary or involuntary, passengers can seek reimbursement for the total fare or untraveled portions of the journey through WIZZ credits or the original payment method.

If a family member, including mother, father, wife, husband, common-law partner, sister, brother, grandparent, child, or grandchild, passes away up to 30 days before departure, a refund can be requested by submitting a claim and death certificate within 7 days.
