Established in 1992, Uzbekistan Airways has become a globally recognized and reliable carrier, pivotal in shaping Uzbekistan’s civil aviation. Class of Travel

Economy Class features individual reading lamps, adjustable personal tables, and a spacious luggage cupboard. Passengers benefit from 12 audio channels and an onboard display system that shows aircraft location and traffic information on Boeing aircraft. Additionally, warm blankets and pillows are provided based on flight duration, ensuring comfort throughout the journey.

Business Class travelers enjoy comfortable folding seats and access to exclusive business lounges before departure. The separate cabin offers privacy and ample space for work or leisure, complemented by first-class service onboard. Meals, including a variety of hot dishes, snacks, and beverages, are included in the ticket price. After aperitif service, bedding is provided along with the main course to ensure a restful flight experience.

Baggage Allowance

Uzbekistan Airways permits business class passengers to carry 1 hand luggage piece weighing up to 10 kg and 2 checked bags, each weighing no more than 32 kg and totaling 158 cm in dimensions.

Economy class passengers are allowed 1 hand luggage piece up to 8 kg. The total dimensions for carry-on baggage must not exceed 115 cm in the sum of 3 dimensions. For checked bags, they are allowed 1 checked item up to 23 kg and 158 cm.

Infants under 2 years old are not permitted to bring hand luggage. Infants without a seat can check 1 piece weighing up to 10 kg with dimensions not exceeding 115 cm.

UzAirPlus

UzAirPlus, Uzbekistan Airways’ frequent flyer program, is open to individuals aged 16 and older with valid identification. Upon registration, members receive Premium status and 1,000 welcome points. To achieve Silver or Gold status, participants must accumulate 50,000 or 75,000 points within 12 months. Points reset annually on January 10.

Members enjoy benefits such as premium class upgrades, award tickets, increased baggage allowances for Silver and Gold members, and lounge access for Gold members. The program maintains active points for premium services and adjusts statuses yearly based on point accumulation. UzAirPlus rewards loyalty with enhanced travel experiences and exclusive privileges.

In-flight Services

Uzbekistan Airways’ Economy Class provides bottled water on short-haul flights and hot meals on longer journeys, including options such as beef or chicken, vegetable salads, fresh bread, and desserts based on flight duration.

Business Class offers bottled water and juices with individual packaging on short haul flights, and an enhanced menu with appetizers, diverse hot meals, and a selection of alcoholic beverages on longer flights, including hot breakfasts on the Tashkent-New York route.

Special meals catering to gastronomic, religious, or medical needs are available on international flights at no extra charge. Passengers must order at least 48 hours in advance through the booking system.

Uzbekistan Airways ensures meal customization, including various hot drinks and desserts, and allows menu changes at its discretion. Special meals are widely available from Tashkent, with some restrictions from other departure cities.

Check-in

Online check-in service is available from 23 hours and 55 minutes up to 4 hours before departure. This service applies to all domestic flights and selected international destinations, including major cities like New York, London, and Seoul.

Airport check-in begins 3 hours before departure, varying slightly for specific airports such as Pulkovo, Khabarovsk and Blagoveshchensk. Check-in closes 30 minutes before domestic and 40 minutes before international flights, with some airports requiring earlier closure. Boarding starts 1 hour prior and ends 20 minutes before departure, and late arrivals may be denied boarding.

Refund & Cancellation

Uzbekistan Airways charges a fee for voluntary cancellations of return tickets based on tariff rules.

If the airline is at fault, refunds for refundable fares are provided free of charge.

For completely unused tickets, passengers receive reimbursement minus any applicable penalties, applying the highest restrictive fare when multiple fare types are used.

For partially used tickets, only the unused segments are refunded after deducting the relevant fees.

Non-refundable fares allow refunds of published airport charges for unused sections.

In cases of passenger or immediate family death, refunds are granted without penalties upon providing necessary documentation.

All refund requests adhere to the airline’s fare and penalty guidelines.
